The agency used to give extensions, but that ceased. I am temporarily back n the system due to a contract expiring. I am a Federal Government Contractor and was fortunate/blessed this time around that I was able to gain assistance from the United Way and my church for rental assistance. But the homeless need so much more than just a meal once or twice a month. It is my hope, prayer, and vision to provide affordable housing, education, life skills, etc to the homeless so (they) can regain his/her independence and re-acclimate to society.
